About
The Smash Attack is a volleyball training machine designed to deliver variable-angle sidespin serves, realistic spiking scenarios, and precision setting drills. It features a counterweighted throwing head with infinite positioning from the lowest setting drill height to net height and beyond, with a release point range of 6'3" to 9'1". Serving speeds reach 80+ MPH.
The frame is powder-coated, rust-resistant steel with a 16-gauge diamond plate non-slip platform surface and an extra-wide base. Two variable-speed motors drive two 10-inch diameter, 4-inch wide soft polyurethane throwing wheels. The counterweighted design and self-latching one-way bearing allow safe independent operation by assistant coaches or players while the head coach provides direct instruction at the player's position.

The counterweighted head with self-latching one-way bearing allows positioning anywhere from the lowest setting drill height to above net height.
The automatic one-way bearing prevents uncontrolled descent. Independent speed controls enable top spin, back spin, or no spin. The rotating head delivers breaking sidespin serves. The machine delivers jump serves, top spins, floaters, and breaking sidespin serves at up to 80+ MPH. It rolls along the serving baseline to change serve angles.
Spiking drills deliver the ball at realistic angles from over the net for digging and blocking practice. Setting drills provide rapid reps of soft sets at varying intervals and heights with no-spin delivery at any angle.
The throwing head pivots horizontally for any court direction, and vertical mast adjustment provides a full range of heights. Extra-large rolling wheels make the machine easy to move.
The unit fits through standard three-foot commercial doorways and into any full-size pickup for transportation. Two 10-inch diameter, 4-inch wide soft polyurethane throwing wheels limit ball wear through contoured even-pressure contact.
